New year, new questions?
Organizations are constantly experiencing change, whether responding to external changes, navigating internal financial or staffing changes, planning for the next chapter of their work, etc. As we know, change can create anxiety for staff.
As a manager, it’s important to help your staff process their questions and concerns, determine what questions they need to be answered now to be able to do their job, and then help them concentrate on the present work while the changes evolve. Encouraging them to focus on what they directly influence and helping them perform at a high level will help them manage their anxiety and feel pride in their work.
