Take advantage of the last few days of summer to take time for yourself and your business.
August. The dog days of summer. But before you know it, the fall will be upon us, with all of its busyness. Here are a few ways you can prepare yourself and your business for the fall.
Take time to unwind. If you’re working by yourself or only have a few staff, a vacation might be truly impossible. But perhaps you can take time during the week to recharge, establishing a new summer schedule or working with your staff to take on new responsibilities.
Plan for the fall. Take time to consider your goals for the fall. What do you want to achieve before the end of the year? What habits and practices do you want to implement to help you manage the stress of a busy season? How will you continue to take time to recharge despite the busier schedule?
Launch something new. Lots of activities begin in September, and you can consider it a mini New Year. Try out a new product (and be sure to plan ways to get customer feedback) and prepare for the launch in August by planning out your marketing and customer feedback strategies.
Do you have other ways that you’re taking advantage of the dog days of summer?
